I hope you have all had a great weekend; mine has been great! Though I am so not ready for the work week to begin again already. The phrase “so much to do, so little time” definitely has been speaking to me the past couple of weeks. I’ve been busily preparing for my church’s young adult weekend, with the help of a stupendous planning committee. I’ve also been busy getting things ready to launch the first Affirmations Coffee Giveaway, as well as saving up some money.

This week I will be finishing up my February budget (though I know I’ll need to do some edits along the way, because I’ll forget to account for something that needs to be done this month. Haha.) The other financial project I’ll be working on this week is my debt snowball. In other words: paying off debt as fast as I can. I also look forward to putting this into practice with Affirmations Coffee. I hope to learn how to budget everything and pay off all of the debt.
The past three weeks I’ve had two meetings a week getting ready for the young adult weekend. It’s been great building better, stronger relationships with people and also pushing me out of my comfort zone.I have to recruit speakers for the weekend seminars and asking people to do things is uncomfortable for me. Despite this personal challenge, as well as the large time commitment, it is coming together really well and worth it because it is something that I’m very passionate about! I can’t wait to see how the weekend turns out!
I don’t want to spoil the surprise of what the Affirmations giveaway I’m planning will be, but I’m super excited about it. I will launch the giveaway after Affirmations Coffee reaches 500 followers on Instagram. I’m also working a lot on the Kickstarter project. I know it’s been a long time coming, but I finally have the rough draft of the script for my Kickstarter video (and I now need to start editing and recording for that A.S.A.P.) I also need to take photos of the awesome rewards that will be given away through the Kickstarter campaign.
Another project on my list is to plan time this week to write more of my second book “The Power of Choice.” Unfortunately, I haven’t worked on it in a long time, because other things have taken my attention away. I can’t wait to jump back into the process because it too is something I’m very passionate about. Writing a book and having it published is on my bucket list.
That’s only a few things I’ll be working on this week (with the help of some tasty coffee). Haha. What’s this week’s focus for you? Will you plan ways to change the world? Or maybe just start small, like with yourself. Is there a change you could make to really get your life on a more awesome track?
If Affirmations can offer you a pick me up to get you thinking about your own bucket list and personal goals, check out my first book: “Be Awesome! One Week to a Better YOU!” It is available to download here on the blog and is on sale this week for $7.50!
You are awesome! God knows it and so should you!
